CLUB NEWS…

It has been another good year for the club, with a lot of new members joining the club. The new web site is up and running now keeping new and old members up to date with reports, what’s going on around the waters, info on the club match’s and working parties etc. You can visit us at www.waltonians.co.uk. Also for members that don’t know the club stocked new carp into Teggs Nose in Nov of this year.Which included 14 carp from 7.6lb to 9.6lb And 116 carp 2.6lb to 3.6lb All the fish are stunning fully scaled and zip linears and one 9.6lb common carp if you catch any off these fish although they are small please treat them with repect they are the clubs future.Here are a few of the new fish.. Winter feeding has started again on Teggs Nose from nov to march to give a good start for the new carp..
The club will be doing quite a lot of work on Teggs Nose this winter, removing snags and opening new pegs up Work will continue throughout the season, making this a very nice water to fish. Why not come along to a club meeting at the Crown Pub on Bond Street in Macclesfield. The meeting is held on the first Thursday of every month at 8pm, all members new and old are very welcome.

BALIFFS REPORT…

As you may have noticed we have removed the rubbish bins from Teggs Nose because of the amount of rubbish being left at the water, so can I please ask all members to take all rubbish home with you including cigarette ends and not to bring any tins on to any club waters with them. Also can I remind members to have there permit with them, filled in and a picture of themselves inside at all times. Any member fishing for carp to always have a large landing net and unhooking mat with them when fishing.Also please do not park your car on the over flow as we have been getting complaints from united utilities for damage being caused..

MEMBERSHIP…

As from July 2010 we will be selling season tickets for the last 6 months of the season without a joining fee at a cost of £25 and extending the yearly re-joining date to the first week of February.
