Febuary 2011
Following a difficult 2010, plans are now in place to make the society prosper:
Teggs Nose Reservoir has continued to increase its stock with the 130 carp added in late 2009 (see Club News-winter 2009) complemented by the addition of 600 small tench.
The club has acquired a new water - Mill Cottage Pool. The pool is in Biddulph and is available to fish now (pre-booking by telephone required). The 1 acre pool has recently been stocked with crucian, roach, perch, chub and skimmer bream. The pool also holds a large head of ghost, mirror and common carp ranging from a few pounds to 20lbs plus.
This pool will replace Herons Pool that will cease to be club water on 16th March 2011.
Improvements to waters will take pace throughout the year, with working parties announced via this website.
Open membership meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month at The Crown Pub on Bond Street, Macclesfield. All members are welcome to attend starting at 8-00pm.
