Clewes Pool
General Information
A small pool but don’t be put off by the lack of pegs and small size of the venue, this pool is a hidden gem, it is what’s inside that counts! With a surprisingly large stock of fish to a good size. The water is not more than 6ft deep and has some cover lily pad beds to fish against.
Known Species
A good stock of Carp of all varieties to mid double plus Tench and smaller silver fish.
Special Conditions
There are no particular restrictions to this water. Members are asked to please take home all their litter to keep the water tidy.
Directions
Follow the (A536) London Road out of Macclesfield towards Congleton. After passing the Millers Kitchen Pub on your right, take the next right turn down the farm track, after the houses on your right hand side, take the next right approximately 300 metres and the water is situated over a stile on your right hand side. Parking for one car only is available opposite the stile.
