General Information
Herons Pool is Waltonians newest water. Situated between Chelford and Knutsford the water is shaped in a rough letter ‘T’ and all banks are tree lined. There are approximately 10 pegs evenly spread around 3/4 of the pool, with one bank is unfishable. Depths vary from 6ft to 10ft.

Known Species
The pool contains a good stock and variety of fish of all sizes, mainly Carp, as this water was previously a Carp syndicate water.

Special Conditions
A close season from March 16th until June 16th is in force on this water. Night fishing is allowed but only with the correct night fishing permit. Only 2 rods allowed at all times.

Directions
Follow the (A537) out of Macclesfield towards Knutsford. Continue through Chelford on the main road until reaching the first layby on the right hand side of the road. Park your car here and walk continuing up the road about 200m to find a metal gate that has been block off. Enter the field and the pool is situated 30m across the field.
