Smallwood Pool
General Information
Smallwood Pool offers a secluded fishing venue off the beaten track. Situated in a small wood area set back from the road the pool is irregular shaped giving a variety of pegs to fish at close range. An undulating bottom gives depths range from 3ft – 9ft.
Known Species
A good stock of Carp and bream plus smaller silver fish.
Special Conditions
There are no particular restrictions to this water. Members are asked to please take home all their litter to keep the water tidy.
Directions
Situated just through Congleton continue through the centre taking the Congleton / Sandbach Road A536. Follow the road and take the fourth left turn at the second cross roads for Brookhouse Green. Follow the road for about 300 metres and pull up to the lay-by on the left hand side. Climb the stile next to the tree and head straight across the field to find both waters.
